Quenching Kerns' thirst for an invigorating new image
Since 1920, Kerns has produced fresh-tasting juices from the heart of California's famous Central Valley. From humble beginnings as a purveyor of locally produced and sold products, the company began selling its juices in other states and, by the 1990s, boasted nationwide brand recognition—and booming sales. When the company changed ownership, it turned to 300FeetOut to refresh its webite with a playful, visually enticing new look.
We hung the design on a sprawling tree, dangling Kern Nectars, Kern Aguas Frescas, and fresh fruit from its limbs. The website employs a vibrant palette with splashes of bright color, and revives the “Pico the bird” mascot to delight youthful audience. At once festive and grounded, the updated site gives homage to the Hispanic market for Kerns' line of juices and Aguas Frescas, while also retaining a universal appeal.
