Northern California’s premiere hotel group engaged 300FeetOut to revitalize their website. As Woodside’s Web partner for over five years, 300FeetOut was tasked with bringing the four-star properties to the Web with a high-end presence that reflected the diversity of the properties’ locations and audiences.

Part of the re-launch effort also called for organic search engine optimization, that is, SEO without a cost-per-click component.

Understanding each property’s specific challenges in location and audience, provided 300FeetOut the opportunity to customize the individual property sites while retaining the overall corporate branding. Differentiating the design and messaging for each property’s core audience allowed 300FeetOut to meet the specific expectations for each location.

Heavy research into the competitive landscape for each property provided the foundation for integrating unique strategies into the design and Internet marketing, namely search engine optimization. The end product is a multi-faceted website with a strong brand presence, but also individualized for each property.

The results to date are strong, we have achieved the following:

  • The number of visitors has increased by 217%
  •  Visitors from search engines increased by 70% with the following breakdown by search engine:
    • Google 557%
    • Yahoo 62%
    • MSN 46%
    • Yahoo Local 222%

* The diversity of keywords that consumers are using to find the site has increased by 351% (resulting in the site being found easier)
