Aspen/Snowmass and 300FeetOut keep that mountain magic coming

You can almost feel the snowflakes fall as you slalom through the Aspen/Snowmass website, designed by 300FeetOut as a highly interactive taste of the slopes. Catch the Mobile Internet

What are you doing to connect to customers that access the Internet away from home—among the 54.5 million mobile Internet users in the USA alone (1)? For instance, Aspen/Snowmass reaches out to snow lovers on the go, giving customers quick access to mountainside info from their mobile devices—everything from snow conditions to current grooming updates. The mobile plan at Aspen/Snowmass is an integral part of providing the top-notch customer service and information that consumers of luxury expect.

Mobile customers have different needs than home- or office-based searchers. Mobile browsers work best with information-rich, graphics-light pages that load quickly. The number one problem reported by mobile users globally is load time (2), yet 71% of U.S. consumers plan to use some sort of mobile data service daily (3).

What’s more, 28 percent of all searches are local, mobile searches (1). What do these stats tell us? Those mobile users are out searching for a place to stay or to dine—and hospitality providers need to enhance their Internet visibility with fast-loading pages and useful information specifically geared to mobile customers.
