Aspen/Snowmass and 300FeetOut keep that mountain magic coming

You can almost feel the snowflakes fall as you slalom through the Aspen/Snowmass website, designed by 300FeetOut as a highly interactive taste of the slopes. The site’s been such a hit since its launch last year (read about WebAwards glory below) that we’re currently updating it for the 2008/2009 season with yet more enticements for powder hounds, lodge lizards, and schuss bunnies.

300FeetOut expands luxury hospitality experience to the web

Luxury destination Lausanne Palace & Spa turned to 300FeetOut to build an online presence. The recently remodeled property in Lausanne, Switzerland, caters to a traveler in search of a luxurious, refreshing, and lavishing visit. 300FeetOut designed and developed a website that would cater to the luxury traveler while providing the simplicity and access of pertinent information that the Web is capable of delivering.

300FeetOut brought expertise in translating luxury hospitality experiences to the Web, a medium often considered difficult to crack for luxury brands stepping into high-end e-commerce. In 2004, Leading Hotels of the World extended membership to 300FeetOut to join the Leading Service Provider Network. Leading Hotels of the World represents over 400 of the world’s finest hotels.

Lausanne Palace & Spa wanted their online brand to be consistent with their overall brand presence. “300FeetOut developed a site that reflects the balance between Old World and New World that Lausanne Palace & Spa represents,” says Mr. Grégoire Pavillion, Director Sales & Marketing for Lausanne Palace & Spa.

300FeetOut developed the site with amenities that an online experience promises while weaving luxury and Old World charm throughout the site. “In addition to translating the luxury brand proposition online, the visitor must also be able to access the information they expect to gain from their online research as simply and as elegantly as possible,” says Nina Dietzel, Creative Director at 300FeetOut. “Our work starts with the first property visit and staff interviews. It ends when the online visitor is able to book a reservation, find their questions answered and anticipate the lavish experience that awaits them at the destination.”

300FeetOut launched Lausanne Palace & Spa in French and English. They will continue to roll out the site in German, Russian, and Mandarin by the end of the year.
