Tropical chic: 300FeetOut to update Puntacana Resort’s internet presence

The Puntacana Resort and Club is the Dominican Republic’s most stunning destination, a luxury domain of white-sand beaches, stylish hospitality, and tropical elegance. Encompassing the Puntacana Hotel, Tortuga Bay Villas, a world-class golf club and spa, an international airport, and an exclusive community of private homes, the resort is truly a jewel of the Caribbean.

Seeking to create an internet presence as enticing as the resort itself, Puntacana has asked San Francisco-based web design and branding specialists 300FeetOut to update its website, polish its online image, and thoroughly optimize the site for search engines.

300FeetOut, a Leading Hotels of the World Preferred Provider, works with many of the globe’s top hospitality properties to make the internet a savvy traveler’s first stop.

“Puntacana is really the ultimate Caribbean resort, and we’re delighted to contribute to that mystique,” says Nina Dietzel, 300FeetOut principal. “And as designers, we’re turned on by Puntacana’s high level of design and style.”

One of the resort’s principals is celebrated fashion designer, and Dominican native, Oscar de la Renta, who is a co-owner along with entertainer Julio Iglesias and developers Grupo Puntacana. De la Renta personally designed the Villas at Tortuga Bay, and makes his home in the Puntacana community, as does Iglesias.

The Puntacana Resort’s new website, redesigned by 300FeetOut, is scheduled to launch spring 2008.
