Traffic control: 300FeetOut hires John Sung Kim
–Director, Online Marketing
300FeetOut adds John Sung Kim, a leading expert on Internet marketing, to strengthen strategic long-term planning for online customer acquisitions. He will direct Search Engine Marketing with 300FeetOut’s design and engineering teams to help the firm’s clients become industry leaders on the Web.
“Beautiful online experiences do not in and of themselves generate new customers,” says Nina Dietzel, who founded 300FeetOut. “We’re blending the dualities of attraction and delight; integrating design with the challenge that John will take hold of – finding those visitors.”
John’s team will forge connections with web development to generate qualified traffic that is relevant to client marketing and lead generation campaigns. In an industry quickly becoming filled with generic buzzwords and catchphrases regarding SEO (Search Engine Optimization), John’s team will take a fully measured approach to return on marketing dollars and analyzing website traffic patterns. Down to the keyword. Down to the penny.
As one of the first generation of Google Adwords customers, John used his online marketing expertise to launch Five9.com, a VoIP call center software company that he took from $0 to $10M a year in annual revenues. John then went on to become the founding marketing consultant to one of the largest chain of cosmetic surgery centers in Florida (a hypercompetitive market) and the largest maker of in-building wireless solutions (acquired in late 2007 by ADC for $169M).
“I’m thrilled to be working with artists and engineers that ‘get it’ and bring such a wealth of design and aesthetic expertise," says John. "Together, we represent a measured, holistic approach to generating new customers on the web through Search Engine Optimization, something that has been missing in our industry for quite some time.” Traffic can be a good thing.
