300FeetOut built a cross channel destination driven website experience focusing on the umbrella brand and each of it’s eight unique destinations. One of the greatest challenges of the site, was to create a uniform brand that stayed true to the K+K style while bringing it up-to-date with approachable lifestyle photography. The bones of the project were there — a hard working staff, amazing reviews, a very consistently executed brand, and a recent photoshoot. Using these to our advantage, we created a new site with a look & feel that was both elegant, appealing, and user-friendly. The UI was retooled so that both the global and local navigation lived in a consistent location, helping users know where they are, no matter what the language or the location. The site is built on a content management system which can be maintained at the hotel level; an important feature with 11 location based sites in 8 languages. Since launching in February, the 300FeetOut team has been jostling for the K+K Hotels tour guide position, where we’ll eye the Eiffel Tower from our room, swim the rooftop pool in Barcelona, and wander the streets of Bucharest.
