What could be better than front row seats at City Hall to celebrate the 40th anniversary of one of our favorite clients? Well, how about adding a star studded guest list, an entertaining show, some free ice cream, and a spectacular costume or two (or ten!)? 300FeetOut joined the rest of San Francisco in celebrating one of our most beloved institutions.
The longest running musical revue in theatre history, Steve Silver’s Beach Blanket Babylon, put on a lavish affair at San Francisco’s famous City Hall rotunda. From the extravagant costumes and outrageously huge hats to the evolving parodies ripped from today’s headlines, BBB has been seen by over six million people from around the world and is at 15,000+ performances. If you were unable to attend the celebration (and boy did you miss a show!) listen to what NPR had to say as they interviewed Jo Schuman Silver, or better yet, watch the celebration in it’s entirety here.
Congratulations, Beach Blanket Babylon! And here’s to many more.
