It’s finally here! We finally made our own website, again. This version is the brainchild of people who are usually limited by client briefs and project constraints. It was a rare chance for us to break free and use our creativity to build something reflecting our own vision and passion. And while every 3FO team member played a role in the planning, from development to content, it was Greg (Senior Art Director) and Chantel (Senior Developer) who teamed up to bring it all to life. This is mostly their story.
People Centric Cutting-Edge Tech
Of course we didn’t make it easy on ourselves. Built on a unique platform showcasing innovative technology, the website is the vision between these two collaborators. From the smooth loading animation flowing into the homepage to the scrolling marquee effect, every detail was carefully crafted. The seamless case study animations — achieved without page refreshes — were a true labor of love, highlighting the drive to achieve a flawless user experience.
True Luxury is Unnoticed
The services section animations unfold effortlessly as you scroll, transitioning subtly from shape-to-shape between content rotations. It’s so subtle that 97% of users won’t even notice anything other than the page is easy-to-read. That’s the true measure of functionality, when you don’t notice how easy it is to use – and it takes a very dedicated team to finesse those details. As a leader in building luxury hospitality websites for almost three decades, we’ve always said that luxury is what you don’t notice and this 300FeetOut duo knocked that out of the park.

What sets this pair apart is their resilience. When challenges arose, be it competing projects or when they knew people wouldn’t understand how damn hard it is to make an easy-to-use website, they took turns as each other’s cheerleader, reigniting the excitement to the finish line. With 35 years of combined industry experience, they’d toss ideas back and forth, turning good concepts into phenomenal ones. Giving each other space to experiment and think allowed their creativity to flourish, a luxury rarely afforded in our world of tight client timelines.
