Senior Project Manager
Type: Full Remote // West Coast Hours

You don't just track deadlines; you anticipate roadblocks before they appear. You are a strategic partner who understands that a project's success is measured by its impact and its ROI.
What You’ll Do
As a Senior Project Manager, you are the steward of the 3FO workflow, ensuring our "true integration" of design and development remains seamless.
End-to-End Project Lifecycle Management: Lead complex projects from discovery and Brand Sprints through to deployment and post-launch support. Understand the project mapping for different types of 3FO projects and ability to evolve them.
Retainer Resource Optimization: Balancing recurring client needs with ad-hoc project requests.
Milestone Stewardship & Scheduling: Own the project roadmap by defining, scheduling, and running critical milestone meetings. You ensure that every phase—from the initial Brand Sprint to final Dev QA—is met with stakeholder alignment, clear documentation, and approval before moving forward.
Strategic Resourcing: Partner with the Creative Director and Tech Director to balance team utilization, ensuring we hit our target range of 50%–80% without burnout and leveraging contractor support.
Budget & Scope Mastery: Scope "amazing" while staying grounded in reality. You will manage budgets with actual attention to detail (no faking it), preventing scope creep and ensuring profitability.
Client Advocacy: Act as the primary point of contact for our "forward-looking" partners. You translate their business objectives into actionable briefs for our creative and dev teams.
Process Optimization: Continuously refine our agile and waterfall hybrid methodologies. You’ll lead the charge in adopting new tools and AI-driven efficiencies to keep us ahead of the curve.
Thought Leadership: Like all 3FO leaders, you will contribute to our agency’s voice by sharing insights on project management trends and efficiency via our blog and social channels.
Actioning What’s Next: Understand the next steps in the project lifecycle even when it hasn’t been defined yet. Being able to talk to the client about what might be next for them and suggest additional scope.
Technology Friendly- willing to use available technology to streamline tasks and processes, including AI updates from existing and new sources.
What You Know
Experience: 7+ years of project management experience specifically within a creative and/or digital development agency.
Technical Literacy: Deep familiarity with CMS platforms (WordPress, Jamstack), UX/UI workflows (Figma/Adobe CC), and SEO/PPC campaign structures.
Toolbox: Mastery of project management software (e.g., Asana, Monday, Jira or TeamWork) and professional communication tools.
Methodology: Strong grasp of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies and when to apply each for maximum impact.
Soft Skills: High emotional intelligence. You lead with "grace-forward" authority and can navigate high-pressure situations with a polished, professional demeanor.
Performance Competencies
Operational Excellence: Maintaining 100% accuracy in project tracking, milestone scheduling, and administrative tasks.
Strategic Communication: The ability to lead high-stakes milestone presentations, delivering tough news or pivoting strategies while maintaining client trust.
Proactive Innovation: Identifying a process "bottleneck" and solving it before it impacts the bottom line.
