At 300FeetOut, we don’t just build brands and digital experiences — we build relationships. With our clients, with our partners, and most importantly, with each other. Who we are outside the studio walls powers what we do inside them. Whether it’s a love of music, cooking, code, or nature, our team’s passions fuel our creativity and give real meaning to the work we deliver. This week, we’re pulling back the curtain on one of our Lead Web Developers, Chantel — a team member who brings precision, patience, and personal depth to every project we launch.
Question: Tell us a bit about yourself. What are your passions outside of work?
Outside of work, you can usually find me spending quality time with my husband and 3-year-old son, whether that’s cooking a warm meal from scratch, DJing our own dance party, or disconnecting during our annual trip to Yosemite. These moments not only help me recharge but also keep me grounded, allowing me to bring fresh energy and creativity to my work.
Question: “What led you to join 300FeetOut?”
I met the 300FeetOut team over a decade ago, back when we were collaborating as design and development partners. When I was brought onto the team, it felt like a natural next step, building on the strong working relationship we had already developed. Since then, I’ve had the opportunity to grow alongside the company, contributing to exciting projects and continuing to develop my skills within a collaborative and innovative environment.
Question: “Can you describe your role and what you love most about it?”
As a Lead Web Developer at 300FeetOut, I’m responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of web development projects, collaborating with a talented team, and ensuring that our solutions align with both client needs and best practices. What I love most about my role is the balance between technical challenges and creative problem-solving. It’s incredibly rewarding to see projects come to life, from initial concepts to polished, user-friendly experiences.
Question: “How do your personal interests influence your work here?”
I’ve always been drawn to deconstructing things to their core elements — whether it’s crafting a recipe or refining code. I value keeping things clean, precise, and free of unnecessary complexity. This mindset influences both my personal life and work, helping me focus on creating efficient, streamlined solutions with attention to detail and clarity.
Question: “What are your future goals, both personally and professionally?”
Personally, I just want to keep soaking in the things that matter most to me: time with my family, creative side projects, and those rare moments of quiet. Professionally, I aim to further develop my leadership skills and contribute to the success of 300FeetOut by taking on more challenging projects. I also want to explore new technologies, particularly in the AI landscape, to push the boundaries of what we can create.
This is what it looks like when passion and purpose align. When we bring our full selves to the table — quirks, hobbies, playlists, and all — we don’t just build better websites. We build better connections. At 300FeetOut, we know that every breakthrough starts with curiosity, and every great partnership starts with trust. Relationships are our roots. The rest? That’s just bold execution.
